Arrondissement <\/strong>d\u2019Ahuntsic-Cartierville<\/strong><\/p>\n

A citizen\u2019s fence is damaged by a snow-removal truck: he quickly notifies the Borough. The latter takes several months to answer that it will not repair the fence. Furthermore, the Borough failed to duly notify the citizen of the procedures to follow and deadlines to be met in order to claim financial compensation and protect his rights to judiciary recourse. Indeed, deadlines for litigation against the City are very tight.<\/p>\n

Following our intervention, the Borough conducts a site inspection and undertakes to repair the damaged fence. This aspect of the issue is resolved.<\/p>\n

We are pursuing our dealings in order to have the Borough improve its response times to the citizens and communicate to them the information related to procedures and deadlines for claims against the City.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
