{"id":4634,"date":"2016-06-21T13:42:24","date_gmt":"2016-06-21T17:42:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ombudsmandemontreal.com\/?page_id=4634"},"modified":"2016-06-21T13:42:24","modified_gmt":"2016-06-21T17:42:24","slug":"office-municipal-dhabitation-de-montreal-omhm-a-tenant-is-experiencing-many-dissatisfactions-2015","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ombudsmandemontreal.com\/en\/cases-handled\/examples-of-cases-handled\/housing\/office-municipal-dhabitation-de-montreal-omhm-a-tenant-is-experiencing-many-dissatisfactions-2015","title":{"rendered":"Office municipal d\u2019habitation de Montr\u00e9al (OMHM) \u2013 A tenant is experiencing many dissatisfactions (2015)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A tenant of the OMHM complained of many problems: \u00a0defective ventilation in the building, erroneous unpaid balance on her account, water accumulation in front of the building, neighbours keeping their dwelling doors open on the common corridor, work schedule of the security agent and general uncleanliness of the building. \u00a0Our office inquired with the OMHM and visited the premises.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The ventilation system was repaired.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The citizen\u2019s account was corrected.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The OMHM hired a company to remedy the water accumulation in front of the building\u2019s steps. This work was done in the fall of 2015.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The building residents were reminded that they must keep their dwelling doors closed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The security guard\u2019s work schedule, however, is consistent with the job description and did not appear problematic.
