City representatives must provide her with all relevant information and documents. If the Ombudsman comes to the conclusion that there is a problem, she can formally <strong>Recommend<\/strong> any corrective measure she deems appropriate.<\/p>\n<p>The Ombudsman <strong>does not have the power to demand or order<\/strong> the City to do something. However, in the vast majority of cases, her <strong>recommendations<\/strong> are accepted and implemented by the City and\/or the concerned municipal entities.<\/p>\n<p>If she does not receive a favourable response following a <strong>Recommendation<\/strong>, the Ombudsman can submit a report to the Executive Committee, the City Council or the concerned Borough Council and request its support and intervention.
