Immunity and Code of Ethics<\/h2>\n

Immunity<\/h3>\n

The Ombudsman de Montr\u00e9al<\/span> and her employees cannot be prosecuted for acts committed in the course of their duties nor can they be subject to an injunction or an order to do or not to do something. Also, they cannot be compelled to testify before any court of law nor to provide any information or deposit any document gathered during an investigation. Finally, their files are not subject to Right of Access legislation.<\/p>\n

Code of Ethics<\/h3>\n
